Default I give up
I am trying for the past 2 weeks to figure out what is color code 6369
I thought that the color is tea (6308) but I was surprised when I saw the 6369 code.
I checked every handbag on BV website and catalog, but without luck.
The year of manufacture is 2008.
I really hope that someone can help because I admit defeat

From a production date of 2008, it should be one of the current colors, unless it was a special order or a bag made for outlets. I have more questions than answers: Why did you think that the color was tea? Did an SA tell you, or was it listed in a description as tea? Do you have any tags or receipts from this bag that give the official color? Does it look like the color tea?

Unfortunately, I do not have a listing for that color code, Juda. This could be tea with different colored hardware, or some special treatment/mixing of leathers, a different hide, etc., but I need some additional information. Can you please post pictures of the bag or item with a close-up on the leather and a picture including the zipper and/or hardware? Interestingly enough, the code for tea places it among the reds (crimson, eclipse, a brick red (do not know official name)) rather than browns, tan or neutral. It is often a mystery for me, too.

Perhaps, someone else has a more direct answer.

It is the large campana. We don't have outlets here.
The BV boutique in Dubai is not that Knowledgeable about color codes. They told me it is Tea.
But again they told me that saffron is burnt orange and that Curry is mustard.

It is definitely different color than the tea campana (2nd pic) from the reference library.

I think your bag is TEA, but it looks different than the picture of the one in the reference library.. I think that the picture of the one in the reference library is either affected by the lighting and/or camera flash or both. I own a large black campana, and I know without looking that the color code is not 1000, what you would expect, but 8175.. I think that BV changes the color codes in the Lg. campanas..for what reason, I do not know..

Juda, that second pic is mine. The room was filled with sunlight at the time. The color is definitely darker.......darker than noce. Looking at the reference pic on the right I'd say it's close to the handle that's on the left....the darker of the two pictured...hope that helps.

Thank you ladies.

LLANeedle - yes it did help

prestwick - the 8175 code is really interesting.

I will stop researching color codes, it is a headache

The tea in my sandals and belt look like your first picture of the weave and your bag in the shadow.

For campanas and old balls, the color code is always different than for other styles - usually because the hardware is the oxidized hardware, rather than the brass of other bags - or the copper of some of the bags from this season. So, I, too, think that your bag is tea, Juda, and I am going to add that to my list of color codes.

Preswick - I have 8175 as nero for campanas and old balls - again both have oxidized hardware.

LLANeedle - I find tea both darker and more red than noce ... really rich!!!

FYI - The production year narrows the field of colors, unless the bag is a special order - and campanas can be special ordered - or - and we see it quite a bit in the US and often Europe - the bag is a made-for-outlet-bag. I have never seen an outlet campana.

I am not right about this... I just checked on the BV website under icon bags, and the ebano campana does have the familiar number. So now I am confused, too. But I still think that your campana color is tea.

I can't explain the BV website (although it's not always correct, like the other year listing the New Pyramid as Nappa instead of NU) but my understanding is the same as yours about the campanas and old ball bags due to the hardware. If you look here, the ebano campana DOES have a different number.

I too think the bag in question is Tea.

Good catch, blugenie!!! I went to that website (but couldn't read anything other than numbers... I am terribly lacking, I know!)... maybe we are correct. there is a campana in a butter cream color... does anyone know what that was?... the lining was blue.

LOL I can't read a thing there either but wish I could... I just love the pictures!

I think jburgh may be right the buttercream campana could be Aurora but I can't say exactly because my Aurora has gold hardware
