It is often hard to tell from the pictures, but I think that antelope was a stronger/deeper color... and I seem to remember that aurora was pale. I also remember that Marmot had blue linings, so this color probably came from that season ... and antelope did, too... Hopefully someone can read the website and tell us.

LLANeedle - is the color code of your campana 6308 or 6369?

Ladies - before the sale even starts in Dubai most handbags and colors are already gone.

The BV boutique ordered the campana from another country. When it got here I couldn't compare it to any tea bag. But I was under the assumption that it was Tea (since that's what they told me).

When I checked the color code (and I wish I haven't) I tried to find out what color it is. Two weeks later and countless hours in front of my pc, I came up with nothing.

I checked every handbag in the catalog and website, the color code for Tea is always 6308 and I couldn't find anything with color code 6369.

It would be really helpful if color codes are included next to seasonal colors in the color reference library - color name, color code then season.

I think the Campana may be Aurora but has the different code because of hardware--Campanas have some different codes. There are a couple of Aurora color bags on that site (code 7850), a Veneta and another bag and the colors look identical to the Campana. Aurora was from the summer that had blue linings.

Marmo is very close to white, in fact it's code is in the 9000's like Bianco.

LLANeedle - is your campana tea? If so, then you have the color code! If you do, can you please check for us? TIA!

boxermom - you are probably right about the aurora.

Juda, it and when you post a picture of your bag in the style reference section you can include the color code and color.

There has never really been a master list (nothing provided by BV), and we have just cobbled one together as we buy and authenticate. Publishing an extensive list has been previously discussed, but that is an easy way for counterfeiters to access the codes. The markers on BV are fewer with which to authenticate, and giving them a list of the correct color codes would eliminate one of the ways that we can identify fakes. But always feel free to ask any of us, just as you did, and we will give you the code/codes for which you are looking or tell you what we do and do not know.

If I didn't peronally buy the bag from the BV boutique, I would have thought that it was fake (based on the code). Can you imagine if it was a gift from DH?

I have owned both a Noce and Cobalt Campana, and both had different color code than the same colors (Noce and Cobalt) in styles other than the Campana. I was told it was because of the different color hardware. So, it is probably really Tea.

All.

That was very helpful. I would have never figured out by myself that color hardware changes the color code.
