this will be a super long post with pictures to come later, please excuse my babbling i'm just so happy i can't contain myself....

i wanted to share my joy and excitement with everyone here. after 2 years of waiting and contemplating, i finally bought my first BV bag!! (up until now i only have the continental wallet in Ebano, this year's b-day present from my lovely bf)

i was in HK this weekend for a 2-day getaway trip, meeting up with my girls there for some shopping and food. knowing that there's going to be a worldwide price increase in June, we went into the Landmark store on saturday (5/31) and asked about it, however the SA said she had no idea (or maybe she wasn't allowed to say?).

we walked out and my friend tried to persuade me into buying, but being the "controlled" person i am, i hesitated once more (since it is still a quite pricey purchase for me). then yesterday we met up with more friends and went to the Lee Garden area where all the luxury brands are. we enabled one friend into buy her first Chanel there (the small caviar classic flap with silver hardware, so pretty!!) and everyone was on a "shopping high" just by witnessing her hot new purchase. we then walked (more like jumped) across the street and WALA!! BV was right there!!

the Lee Garden store definitely did not have as much stock as the Landmark one, but it had more of a homely feel to it, the Landmark one is grand but not so "down to earth" if you know what i mean. once we went in, i had them take out my dream bag for me to try on, God knows i've tried on that bag in every possible BV store in Taiwan at least 10-20 times in the past 2 years, lol.

then the same friend who bought her first Chanel was like - "i have this bag!! in Ebano!!! it's a great bag, get it get it get it!!!"

then we asked the SA in the store about the price increase, and either she was more well informed or it was OK for her to announce since it was now 6/1, she said "yes, there will be a price increase any time now!" i asked if "my" bag will be included, she says "sure, it is one of the classics".

with 4 people anxiously enabling me, telling me how good it looks on my shoulder, along with my own LONG LASTING love for this wonderful bag, and the fact that it will only get pricer from now on - i finally took the plunge and bought it!!

can anyone guess what i bought!?!

i will post pictures if i can get around to taking them tonight. my big black baby is still sitting in the dustbag and the shopping bag, waiting for me to return home for her reveal.

oh and on another note, my friend who got the Chanel also bought the New Pyramid in Nero after i decided to get my bag. we all loved how the strap can be adjusted to wear cross-body or over the shoulder. it's very versatile and low-key casual chic. and the price was great! less than HKD$12,000. i was very tempted, but i wanted to use my money wisely towards my dream bag. maybe for my next BV!? hahaha i need to stop dreaming and start saving for a while!!!

adjustable cross body strap on a Pyramid??? Hmm, my Pyramid has nothing like that. odd.

Congrats on your Campana, great choice. My first BV was the medium ebano Campana, it was love at first sight.

Many congrats on the large campans, I have the exact same bag and love it!!!!! On another note are you sure it's the new pyramid that you friend bought because it doesn't have an adjustable strap if you check the pics in the refernce library?? Please post some pics of your and her bag
