Question How big a deal is it to clean a BV?
Has anyone experience of buying a used BV and having it cleaned? I have been following a previously enjoyed one on e-Bay. It is described as "needing cleaning". What are your thoughts? If I buy, how would I get it cleaned and do you think the results would be worth it? I realise that buying new is the better way, but at the moment this is not an option. SM

Hi SM, there's a site, lovinmybags, that specialize in cleaning high-end bags. But honestly, I would recommend you save for a new bag, just because there are no absolutes with cleaning (especially with delicate colors), and the suede interiors of BV bags can be tricky.

I agree with chiaoapple. I think that you might be disappointed with your purchase should it come and be in a worse state than you expected. Hold out for a new bag, if you can, or one in better condition.

A cheap bag in bad condition will be a real heartbreaker.
