Default Hobo with longer strap?
Hello everyone,

I just purchased this bag from Sabine's Boutique. It is an outlet piece so has cloth lining and not suede. I've never seen this style in the US but love the long handle hobo look. Does anyone know about this style and if it is only available in Italy?

Thanks!

I can't answer your question, but that's a lovely bag. I'm a fan of longer straps. I hope you'll post action shots after it arrives. I'd love to see how it looks over the shoulder.

doreenjoy - I don't own a camera but will try to borrow one and upload pics!

lawbabe - I think Sabine meant it was the "latest collection" in that it is the moutarde color that came out end of last year...but I'm not sure. She said the bag was only made for limited stores (I'm guessing that means only outlets because of the cheaper lining). Does anyone know how the Bottega outlet inventory works?

I'd like to know how it works, too. I know the large wholesale market (Neiman Marcus, Nordies, Marios, Shirise, etc.) order different bags than the boutiques so they don't directly compete with their offerings. Jimmy Choo works the same way. But I was not aware BV had a lower end line for outlets, limited stores. Can someone ask their SA about this. Perhaps it is a secret, lol!

I have never seen anything different (especially not lined in cheaper materials) in the outlets of BV than in the boutiques-and I'm checking them continuously. They mostly have older styles/disliked patterns and bags that have not been sold out in the boutiques- sometimes because the were actually too special/expensive -like stringray, snakeskin bags.
