Default Help with Veneta decision please.
After trying a couple of styles, I have come to love the large Veneta. I have the black pleated veneta.

I would like another one but am torn between which one. Just a heads up, I wear a lot of black and grey.

My 3 choices are Copper, Ferro, and Ottone.
Copper- I am not real sure how I like this with black. I never put black with orange because of the Halloween factor. A plus is I wouldn't have to special order it.
Ferro- not so metallic, but still has a lovely sheen. This is the only color of the 3 that I have seen or will be able to see in person. I will have to pay more to special order it.
Ottone (gold)- I do love this color- alot. I really do wonder if i can pull this off. I dress casually (SAHM), but I am not a denim wearer. Like Ferro, this one will have to be special ordered.

Lastly, I could wait until Spring colors come out and see what is new in the Veneta style.

I really look forward to your advice and opinions. It sure is hard when you can't see things in person. I have alot of faith from the BV ladies that they will lead me down the right path.

Thank you!

Wow, you picked three terrific colors.

I am partial to ferro and ottone. If you think that you may have more of a difficult time working ottone into your wardrobe, ferro would be a great choice.

I think that ferro will go with just about anything. It is a beautiful color and has a very nice sheen to it.

I just had another thought for you. Why not buy a baltic veneta - which is on sale now since it is a FW seasonal color. don't know how or who has them, but piperlu just got a gorgeous one... or you could email bv.luxury@gmail.com.

not as dark as ferro, but really gorgeous IRL... and the benefit is it is cheaper than an SO. you can save the SO for ottone!

LOOK what the UPS truck just brought to me .......Pleated Baltic Veneta

Thanks Piperlu. Wow- I really killed the spelling ottone!!! That's what I get for hurrying and not going back and checking- I figured my spelling was off, just not quite that much!!! Yikes!
I truly do want some thing with sheen. I think the Copper Armatura is an easy yes because it is beautiful and I wouldn't have to special order it. Ottone makes me swoon, but it is hard to imagine I could carry it a lot. I love Ferro and it is a little more understated. I agree all 3 colors are beautiful. This is a hard decision. Thanks so much for your opinion.I appreciate it!

If you have a black pleated, why go with Ferro...? it is a bit of duplication. The metallics will look great with black/grey, and ottone will be more understated/subtle IMO than Copper armatura - but heavier if the ottone is goat, rather than nappa. From the negotiations with my SO (still about 2 more months to go) the cost of a nappa peltro/ottone large veneta was $2400 USD... so it may be possible to order the veneta in an ottone nappa. If cost is the issue, the copper looks to be a fabulous bag, and I remember someone in another thread (MNS, maybe???) saying that she did not baby the armaturas at all. So, without voting, I would go for one of the metallics - any way you go, you will be thrilled!

I voted for Ottone (don't forget to vote in the poll, gals). It would be different enough from the black, yet versatile to dress up or down. The Ottone is definitely metallic, but has an understated quality.

peppermintpatty: If u like the Ferro, maybe you can consider the Ash Scuro? No need SO for that one and the colour is really lovely.

U can check out the bag posted by fpiccione here. I've seen the bag IRL and it's really beautiful. Neutral and rich at the same time.

This is what you said, rearranged by me....
1. I truly do want some thing with sheen
2. I love Ferro and it is a little more understated.
3. I think the Copper Armatura is an easy yes
4. Ottone makes me swoon, but it is hard to imagine I could carry it a lot.

So, do you want something you love (Ferro), or want something you think is easy to envision (Copper) owning?

You can swoon until the cows come home, but don't get a bag you can't imagine using...we've all been there.

Sometimes it is all about the heart and other times its the head. But for most of us it is a blend of both.

I voted copper since you have a large black so Ferro would be like a double like the other tpfer said.

Also if you wear a lot of black and grey, I just think a different colour/tone would pop more than Ferro.

I love Ottone but if you can't use it a lot then it's a pity.

I voted for the ferro because you said you wear a lot of black and gray...so do I and I don't like my ottone with those colors nor do I like it if I'm wearing silver/white gold jewelry.....just MHO though.

I never really thought of the Ferro being anything like the black. I really felt it was more grey/blue, and I loved the sheen to it.
The cost isn't an issue. the cost is close enough that I feel I should go with the one I love the most and yet the one I will carry too.
I am wondering if I am understanding you correctly. Is your special order going to be two-tone if you will? Are there any pictures of the combo of peltro/ottone? It sounds just beautiful. Thanks for your help!
