can you please help me identify a BV hobo that is yellow woven leather with some linen woven detail? i remember seeing this bag in a catalog, but I don't remember which store. if you know which bag I'm referencing, can you please tell me if you guys like that bag? due to the linen (or fabric) woven through parts of it, does it make this bag seasonal? i looked through the "style reference" section but couldn't find it. i think it came in a green too. thank you in advance!

Do you remember if the linen detail was in the shape of flowers, I think your referring to the Marquise veneta.

I have seen this bag on BlueFly and in the sales at the boutiques a couple of seasons ago. From the feedback on the forum I remember members posting that there were some quality issues with this design and out of all the seasonal venetas this seemed to be sent in for repairs the most.
Here are a couple of links to previous threads on this bag. Marquise Veneta on Bluefly -- what do you think? The Marquise design |

I've read the 2 threads but am still hopeful about this bag, since I bought it recently at an outlet!
I saw it in various colours and got the ebano medium. To my inexperienced eyes it seems quite well-made, and I really think it will get broken in eventually despite the initial stiffness (only relative to the regular veneta). I'm just a little concerned about keeping the trim clean. A close-up:

Thanks for the close up. I posted one of the threads that Syma referred to asking about the design. I passed on it b/c of the responses but I will say the bag has grown on me every time I see one on BlueFly. It has a nice summery feel b/c of the 'flowers'. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. And if the linen gets solied over time I'm sure BV has a way to clean it.
