Default Help! I need information/feedback on BV wallet....
Since I couldn't get a wallet during the recent sale, I thought I'd hurry up and purchase one before the upcoming price increase.

I'm interested in the flap continental wallet:

The website shows a nice pix of the inside.

I'm hoping others have purchased this style and can provide any pros and cons. Also does anyone know what colors this style comes in? I was considered an ebano but might try something more colorful, i.e., blue or purple.

I'm planning on visiting my local BV boutique tomorrow and would appreciate any information.

Thank you!

I love it. I have 2. Nero and this one

In my opion it's the best wallet I ever owned.

Don't know what color you're considering, but I would stay away from the light colors. I bought the black 6 months ago and it looks as good as new.

I have the nero one as well and ditto Belgians - the best wallet I've ever owned. I sold my pink BV checkbook wallet because it didn't function as well as this one - everything else pales in comparison for me. It's sleeker than a zip-around style, has plenty of room for everything IMO, all is accessed from the top instead of flipping around, and IMO it looks dressier than a zip-around or checkbook style (where you can see the credit cards from the side) if carrying in a dash as a clutch. The only thing that would make it perfect is if the zipped section were one straight zip instead of 3-sided - just faster access I guess.

I'm not familiar with all the colors besides classic, but you should be able to find it in seasonal colors too. They also did this flap style in the cervo-illusion line that's on sale - oleander and perhaps glacier or oceano? The metallic cervo looks gorgeous too

Belgians - Thanks for the information. I'm glad your Nero wallet still looks pristine! Agree with your advice about staying away from light colors, from past experience I avoid both light purses and wallets.

blugenie - Thanks for the ringing endorsement of the continental flap style wallets. I did look at the cervo-illusion line in glacier during the pre-sale but I prefer the look of the traditional weave. I love that weave and whenever I see styles without it or with very little weave, I think they look a bit "naked."
