I've heard of ladies in the LV forum using magic eraser to get stains out, but I'm not sure how well it would work with canvas. Sorry, I'm not of more help!

I personally do not know either. All I can say is take to a professional leather bag cleaner. At least they are used to handling leather bags with all sorts of lining inside. Hence, unlikely to damage your bag.

Can you turn it inside out with the lining pulled away from the leather, and then spot clean it with some sort of detergent and a damp cloth? I would also try taking it to a trusted dry cleaner for advice. They may know how to spot clean difficult items like this.
