The Balenciaga forum has a place to post Bal sightings. I didn't see a thread for sightings in the BV forum, but I was excited and wanted to share.

Here in Chicago I NEVER see BV bags being carried. Today I had my first BV sighting and was so excited! I saw a black Veneta in action! I was having one of those days, so my DH drove me over to Sweet Mandy B's cupcake shop. While waiting in line I saw a blond with a fabulous black Veneta leaving with her cupcake order. The bag looked so great that I couldn't stop thinking about it (even though I was extremely focused on getting some cupcakes)! I really love that bag. It looked beyond fabulous on her. Since I had never seen one being carried, it was a special occassion for me and I thought that I would share it with you all. I'm going to celebrate my sighting by eating a red velvet cupcake with buttercream icing!

Had quite a few sightings here in Singapore. Here are some of the places where I've sighted -

Shoe store in Paragon - Store owner had a large ebano veneta
YSL store in Paragon - A fellow shopper carrying a large veneta (can't recall colour...)
Takashimaya basement food court - A lady carrying a large regent veneta
Mulberry boutique in Hilton Hotel - A lady carrying a nero ball (1st gen)
Gucci store in Takashimay - A lady carrying a large carmino veneta
In a queue in Mcdonalds - A lady behind me carrying a medium nero veneta
BV store in Taka - A lady carrying a large oceano veneta
Great World City carpark - A lady with a nero montaigne (got me really excited)
Great World City - A guy with a nero intrecciato wallet (same one i have)

Venetas are really popular!!

Good idea^^^. I had a BV sighting in Chicago too. At the Michigan Avenue Talbot's store in the children's section, a beautiful Asian lady had a black BV satchel style bag.

At the Maui airport I saw a woman with a Noce Veneta. Looked fabulous. Dh thinks it's hilarious how far away I was when I spotted the bag (I have terrible eyesight).
