mistikat, remember a week or so ago someone asked if the raised leather on the studs "wears"? Today, I just happened to be at eye level with my bag while it was hanging from a hook and sure enough, some of the areas are showing wear on the raised tips.

EEK! That's not good --- is it plastic underneath? Or a different type of leather? I don't think mine has any wear yet!

I was looking at the 2 bags, and the price difference between the two is mind boggling! Why is the smaller one more expensive than the larger one? Is the original retail price accurately reflected in the first place?

Too risky a transaction for me..... (would have to pay US$65 shipping plus customs and taxes even if I return the bag)! I think BF's sales would improve if they could label colors and sizes accurately or at least tie in with BV's cataglogue's descriptions. Maybe the people who work at BF do not love bags enough... if I worked there, I would be snapping up each one! No wonder I cannot work in retail !

I did the "chat with a representative" thing to ask them that same question. And to also ask about the actual discount. Someone was supposed to get back to me. That was a week before Christmas. No one ever did....

The few raised areas that show wear appear grey but you have to look carefully to see it. Knowing the bags can be redyed, if it get worse over time, I'll have it done.

So do you think it's leather that's showing, whatever's under the finished skin?
