Default E/W Belly
Does anyone have pic of these irl? Any modelling pics? What are the dimensions? I tried doing a search but couldn't really find much info about it. I'm wondering if this bag will be too big on me. I'm 5'3" and petite. Thanks for any help!!

I found this from sale thread, there's a photo of the E/W belly, you may take a look with it.

Thanks for the picture Ocean08!

It seems like most people like the Belly 76 bag vs the E/W so I'm wondering why...hopefully someone who has seen the E/W version can chime in.

It is bigger than the belly bag: it is wider therefore it looks slimmer
My description is confusing

Actually EW belly is one of the bags on my wishlist! Just waiting for some stunning colors in this style! I think the straps all long enough to be carried on shoulder right?

I have the N/S Belly and tried on the E/W. The E/W is not as tall and is quite a bit longer. I like big bags but this one was just too long for me. I'm 5'6". jburgh is also 5'6" and preferred the E/W so I think it's just a matter of preference.

Yes, but unlike you, I am 5'6" wide too, hehe. I did buy the Matita EW Belly during the recent sale. Give me a few days and I'll put some pictures in the sale reveal thread. It slouches nicely.

Don't listen to her, she's an exaggerator. Will be looking forward to the pics though.

I had one here to try and ended up not liking it on me. I'm tall so it wasn't too big looking on me, but something about the proportion seemed off on me. It looked too long for its height.

The straps aren't super long but it can be carried on the shoulder. I liked the way it looked better carried in the hand or on the arm, though.

I'd love to see some action pics, just looking at the dimensions it seems that the bag is very long horizontally.

^^I had just missed the E/W Belly Bag in two different stores when I was searching for it. So frustrating!

Then I found a store that had the bag (I was so excited!), but they were walking out the door when I was on the phone to them. They were to contact me in the morning to complete the transaction. I called them first thing in the morning, and they said it was sold to someone else just five minutes earlier. I think there was a miscommunication between SA's. Sadly, all hope is lost now.

Congrats to those of you that were lucky enough to get them.

Oh wow, that sucks! If you really want the bag, have you thought about doing an international hunt? If you ever want to I can walk you thru the process. I just ordered the Ostrich Copper Belly from Paris last week.

That is frustrating, piperlu!!! It happened to me numerous times with the matita belly. I was able to find one overseas, though. It is a much more arduous process, but you might want to try. The handbag speculators are listing their purchases on eBay for a great deal more than they paid, so it might be worth it if you can find one. Otherwise, I am sure that one or two will show up on eBay over the next few months.

diana, are you switiching your search target?

Thanks everyone for your comments! I would love to see some other e/w pics!! It's hard to imagine how it would hang because in the boutique photo it is resting on something.

hikarupanda: what are the dimensions of the bag?

Baggiana: i'm definitely considering the e/w belly now in matita, i'm asking bryan to check availability. I'm glad you were able to find the n/s version though!! I don't really want to search internationally so I'm thinking about getting the e/w or hoping that one pops up on ebay!
