Default Does BV do hanging tags?
Rather than cards? i.e. like this?

Or should I run a mile?

Thanks!

I've never seen a hanging tag like that at a department store or boutique and I think that the authenticators rendered this bag a fake.

it's a fake, no doubt.

I was going to suggest that maybe the seller displayed the tags this way for viewing. I'm curious, what indicates that this is a fake? TIA

the hole is on the tag itself when purchasing the bag. the leather looks good. you would definitely need more pictures. it could be fake or it could be a gesture that the seller did for photography

This one has a seam on each side but my Ottone sloane doesn't.

I discussed this in the Authenticate this listing on BV (p. 48) a few days ago . I have decided to be less specific in detailing what makes this a fake for me any longer... The reason: I recently reported a fake, ebay removed it, I discussed it on Auth. this BV (p.44), and the seller re-listed the bag without the one picture that pegged it as a counterfeit. The bag sold almost instantly for almost 1K, and ebay did not respond to my reports this time. I cannot say for sure that the seller read my comments here, but I am being very careful, because it is entirely possible for anyone, including people selling fakes to access this site, and garner information that will allow them to market their fakes on eBay. I am sorry that I cannot be more forthcoming, but at least you know why I will not give "dissertations" anymore. I will only say whether is appears to be authentic from the pictures provided, counterfeit, or there is not enough information provided. Where a bag is deemed to be authentic, I can possibly provide information regarding age, etc., if I know.

Please look at my photos. There is no seam at the side except the one at the left and right bottom. If you know what I mean.

Lululala, like I said earlier, you have good eyes. My sloanes are two pieces of leather too....in fact I vaguely remember a discussion a while back that this construction was a contributing factor in the price of a sloane. I completley understand Baggiana, you not wanting to divulge too much info.

They have seams, they are just hidden under the woven leather, right? I mean, you can kind of see them underneath the woven leather? I can on my Sloane at least. Hope that doesn't mean it's fake!

kcm1535, you are right! I just carefully checked the inside. I can feel that there's a fine line inside but you can't see it from outside. BV had such good workmanship!!
