Default Does Anyone Have Either Of These Karung Bags?
Does anyone have either one of these? I have seen the Grape in person, but have not seen the other. I don't think any of my local boutiques have the first one. Also, what color is the first one? TIA!!

I've seen them both in person. They're lovely. The first one is especially pretty.

Thanks gga - I really like the first one a lot! I was surprised that none of the So Cal stores had one in stock over the last few weeks. I tried Rodeo, South Coast, and El Paseo!

I am not really a "brown" person, so I would love to see what this bag looks like under different lighting before ordering it sight unseen.

I know what you mean kroquet! I looked at the grape one when I got my lilac san marco - it is stunning in person!

Ranag - you can have that bag sent to you on approval. Call your SA or the Atlantic City SA. They will hold the funds on your CC and you have 24 or 48 hours to return it and they will release the funds. Wonderful service at BV!!

Love them both.
They had a similar bag to the grape one in the fall 2005 collection (attaching photo), IMO it shows what a special bag it is
The details and work on the other handbag are amazing, I would love to see it IRL

I haven't seen them IRL, but I LOVE the grape one. That is one stunning bag. I'm sure IRL it must be gorgeous!

Oh piperlu! The grape is just fantastic in person! It is also the same shape as my black python bag, but because of the texture it looks very different!

I've seen the first bag IRL and it's stunning as everyone has said--very intricate. I would guess that the second is equally beautiful in person.

Some people can wear these very detailed bags, but I sure can't. That's why I stick to bags like the Venetas or totes. I wish I had the style to carry off one of these.

How did you like the truffle color in karung? Is it really a true brown (I am usually not a brown person)?

I am also in love with this red veneta :

I am having a serious bag jones today...lol I think I need to quit looking at them!!

It was beautiful! I would consider it a true brown, but it's been awhile since I saw it.

With your coloring, Ranag, you can wear the jewel tones like red, purple, green, etc. I can see why brown wouldn't be one of your favorite colors. That Lilac San Marco is a perfect example. As much as I love that bag, it wouldn't look right on me, but on you it looks perfect.

Thanks boxermom I do love colors now! I used to love any handbag as long as it was black...lol Hermes changed all that though, and now I prefer interesting colors!

I think I need to see the truffle karung in person. I love the shape of that bag too!

You had emergency oral surgery today, right? How on earth are you feeling able to be online at all?? I would be in bed nursing my pain. Feel better soon.

Yes, see these bags in person. You are so fortunate to live near several BV shops (and every other kind of shop LOL).
