Why don't you have your sa consign the bag to you.
It is a win win situation They consign the bag to you they place a hold on your credit card you have 48 hrs to make up your mind (maybe a little longer depending on your sa) if you decide to keep it they charge your card if you don't they lift the hold they also send you a return label so there is no expense to you you can make up your mind in the privacy of your own home plus you can get opinions from your friends too

If you really like the style and the python (I think it's beautiful), I would go for this bag first and then a Cabat. The Cabat will always be made, season after season.

septembersiren- Thank you for all your suggestions! I'm in Europe and here it's not that easy to consign bags. Like Baggiana mentioned most SAs just won't do it. If you like the bag you should get it then and there!
Baggiana - You are so right! We have similar taste! Isn't that cool ? So my dear if you were me what would you do? I'm anxious to hear your advice! The truth is that I'm leaning towards the suggestion of uclaboi. Maybe I should get the python this season and wait for my black cabat. The python will be a classic, don't you think? I'm also worried if I can use this bag everyday or because it is python will it be suitable only for formal events? I don't need a formal bag right now. Oh, that's a factor I haven't thought about until now. |

I love it too, it's a beautiful bag--love the design and color. Please let us know if you get it.

I own python and anaconda from Chloe, but for classic and years of use, I would go with the cabat. I don't think python could take everyday use.

Mr. Maier says, " I prefer to have very little, but it has to be exactly the right thing"
I think the cabat will be timeless and classicly chic forever |

Can you wear the python for an everyday bag? - With this one, I think that you could. That is what you can/could do with the early (and some recent high) Carlos Falchi and Nancy Gonzalez bags. My python duette is not an occassion bag, IMO, and I wear it anytime other than an evening/formal event... A little care goes a long way. We treat our nappa bags carefully anyway, and this is not exception. Yes, I could carry it as an everyday bag ... but that is just me... Before you make the choice, please try them both in the store... is that possible? If you want only 1 black bag as a frequently carried bag, then you need to compare the two side by side and pick the one that stops your heart. Not everyone would feel comfortable carrying that concept off, but you cannot tell until you try it. The ball is in your court, Kassandra.... I am very eager to see what you think!
