i was playing with my cabat today, touching it, smelling it and appreciating all the details of this bag.

hubby came over and i told him how this cabat is a limited edition one and how it's so precious and only blah blah blah were made and how much i love BV.....

he didnt even let me finish and out of the blue he said, "but i am so unique that only one is made and how come you dont pay as much attention to me as you are to the bag? *meaning the cabat in this case*"

i can't believe he is comparing himself to my bag! looks like i need to be more attentive to the big baby now

Hilarious! My DH is always saying, "you love your bags more than you love me" just because of the way I baby them. They can't help but get jealous! It's time to show your DH's and significant others more love, people! Don't let them be onto your true love and passion!

catabie - my way to deal with this is to buy something BV for DH - he was completely against it first, but when he received, touched and felt his belt and his sandals...he knew that he received something unique and precious as he is so special for me- it works wonders

catabie - that's funny! since having BV bags I have acquired a strange habit. I automatically look for another chair for my BV when we eat out and let DH look for his own chair. He predicts that this habit will drop when the bag is at least 5 years old.

The bf doesn't mind so much, my love for my bags, but he does get a little miffed when he has to suffer for lack of space cos I tend seat my bags next to me

I think DH has gotten used to me petting and playing with my bags, so long as I actually use them! He's more jealous of the attention I give my cats, but there's long standing issues between him and the cats anyway!
