I share your feeling about this .. (so now I have one of each color!) The brown (ebano) looks a little dressier just because it's dark. And will hide marks? Noce is discontinued so you have to search more for that color .. on eBay or maybe a few still in stores??? There is a "camel" also, which is lighter than Noce.

Noce means walnut in Italian, but sometimes people call it hazelnut, too. There are two colors of dark brown. Ebano is like a milk chocolate color, Moro is like dark chocolate. All three are YUM!

It's a personal preference between the medium brown and the dark brown. I prefer the
Ebano myself--I think the intrecciato shows best in that color, though it's certainly beautiful in any color! |

I say it's probably best to go and try on the colours in the store. Both are great colours and I had a hard time choosing myself. Ended up with moro but that sure doesn't rule out getting something in noce later on
![]() You might want to consider truffle/ash too. All very lovely colours. |

Ebano is my favorite BV color
If you are planning on getting more than one BV maybe you should start with Noce (since it is being discontinued) and get Ebano later. I wouldn't even have suggested buying Noce over Ebano before I bought a Noce veneta, that' when I realized why it is such a popular color If you are planning on getting only one, Ebano gets my vote. |

OMG! Juda, thank you so much! you are a darling, so prompt to deliver...
And Ash Scuro and Ebano got my votes! although all are beautiful colours of brown. You are a lucky girl, embracing them all... Now I would have sleepless nights thinking of these colours, raking my gray area which one to go for. And I agree with Boxermom, medium brown and dark brown won't seem to go wrong. It's like evergreen..infinity beyond |
