I think they only ask for SS# if it is a formal entry (meaning the value is $2000 or over). Keep us posted!

^It's here!!! - from half way around the world... my Juda Matita Belly! It came through customs very quickly once I submitted the papers for cost and materials.)

Thank you, Juda for all your help and guidance. I could not have done this myself!

I have not yet received the customs bill, but the cost of the handbag was under the cost in the US... With shipping (DHL is very high, and bank charges from both ends) I comes to $200-300 more than the sales price. If you look at what the resellers ("bag speculators") on eBay are asking for the bags that they purchased during the sale, and consider that this bag is very desired and contested, the price would have been much higher were I to even find it on eBay (or another marketplace). So for a relatively small premium (when compared to the sales price) I have it now, purchased from a BV boutique, and without the headaches (and possibly higher prices) of bidding, etc. A good solution for me! - and one less contender to drive up the auction price for others searching for the matita belly.

Congrats!!! We want modeling pics!!!

By the way, I wonder if shipping is expensive only from certain countries, mine from France was not expensive at all, international express for just 30 Euro.

We have your secret!!!: fat free pudding w/ lite cool whip will make my action shots as good as yours! But in my case, I will have to grow too!

I think that I will just paint a large arrow to your reveal and state that mine looks just like yours... ok, ok, we'll see what I can do about it later.

I don't know that answer to that - my cost was around $220 for DHL express. Make no mistake, though, it was worth it to me - especially considering the scarcity, and difficulty in locating one. I am very happy to have my bag!!! I do not particularly like the unending search and bidding - (much prefer BIN and offers). I do not even like the race to reach an SA for one bag when there is an avalanche of demand. I am definitely not a good impulse shopper... and I would never survive in Filene's Basement! To each his own, n'cest-ce pas?

Actually, no matter how much I want a bag, I just don't do ebay anymore. No ebay no bonanzle. I only feel comfortable buying from the store itself (or department stores and autherized dealer). So I would totally run to go buy from a BV store, even if I have to pay that much for shipping! And yea, don't you feel lucky that you grab that very last one in the whole wide world when so many people were trying to chase for one?? Enjoy the bag! If I didn't have the ostrich belly I would totally wanna get the Matita belly. I love your Matita more than the new season's matita too. I love the texture on the leather on yours! Enjoy and WE STILL WANNA SEE YOUR MODELING PICS!!!
