Default Cervo Hobo?
Hi Ladies,

Well, today I decided on (I think) a dark chocolate zip around wallet for my Christmas present BUT as I was shopping I started to admire the cervo hobo. I"d love to hear everyone's opinion on this bag. Would you suggest for a newbie going with the Veneta first or the cervo which seems to be calling my name at the moment?

I love my cervo hobo! I bought it before my veneta. IMO it's much more comfortable to wear. The deer leather molds around your body.

Here are some pics.

I love my Cervo Hobo. I have the elephant color. It does mold to your body and is so comfortable to wear and it holds a ton. Love it!!!!!

Ladies, Thank you. Well, I think this just decides it then. One cervo hobo for my Christmas wishlist here I come!

Now the only question is which color - elephant or the dark chocolate? Or anything else before I forget?

I love my Cervo Hobo, carried it today, I have it in Nero and Marmo. It is the most comfortable bag I own and I love how easily I can access the inside without having to take the bag down from my shoulder. The smell of the leather is intoxicating...
BTW, There is one listed on eBay in Ebano, brand new, from a fantastic seller!

The Cervo in Ebano is gorgeous and if I didn't already have a bag in ebano it would be on my wish list.

You love Ebano and find it goes with most everything? I"m not the best in matching bags to my outfits and need a bag that will just GO with it all.

I just bought the black one yesterday from Neiman Marcus and I love it. I already want another one. It is without a doubt the most comfortable bag I've ever owned. I can carry all my stuff and have no issues with weight or anything.

Does anyone know where I can find an Ebano one?

Hi Littlerock,
Thanks for this great review.

P.S. I think the BV boutiques have the Ebano in stock. Good luck and please post pics of your black bag. I'd love to see it.

I have it in ebano and absolutely love it. It's light, comfortable, roomy, pettable, cute...just about perfect! I have a Veneta too, which was my first BV, and there is nothing quite like intrecciato nappa--I'm glad I have both, but for your first BV I think it's hard to go wrong with the cervo hobo. I happened to get mine at overstock.com during a brief moment when it was in stock, but it's certainly worth the full retail price.

Ebano is a great color and goes with most everything. I don't mind carrying a brown bag with black, though. Sometimes that can look quite striking. But, I am completely without a black bag right now. I find that my elephant looks really good with black.

I will be buying a black bag in the next few months though.

Definitely the most comfortable BV I own.... the only drawback is it is soooooo deep, fold-able and mold-able that it can be hard to find things quickly. With the large Veneta I hit bottom faster - a straight one at that! - so I can find things a little easier.

Still a fabulous bag! I love how the lighter colors (elephant/copper/marmo) show off the seam design, although if I didn't have an ebano veneta I'd have to have an ebano cervo hobo
