Hi everyone,
I need some help! I've decided that I have to have something in Carmino but I can't decide which one to go for, the Campana or the Medium Veneta. The medium veneta I have to get overseas because it is sold out in the US but it's still about 15% off retail and the campana is at 30% off so the prices are quite comparable. I just can't decide which will be a better choice. I have 2 venetas - medium in nero and large in magnolia and 2 cabats - in ottone and platinum ossiadto and an ottone sloane. can campana owners chime in on how they like theirs? any modelling pictures would be much appreciated. The only problem I can forsee with the campana is the double handles and openness... pictures have been attached of the 2 bags. i borrowed bertrell's from the reference library. hope you don't mind! |

Please help with decision--Veneta vs Campana
Cassis Campana arrived!! So excited!! ^^take a look at these 2 threads I am really liking the Campana - I was worried about the straps, but really, overlapping the 2 straps works. I'm glad I got this style.(this doesn't mean I don't still want a Veneta someday too )

Hi jeshika,
I only have a large veneta and do not have any campana. Since you have 2 venetas already, I would vote for getting a carmino campana. I believe the openness shouldn't be a problem. But if you are worried about the double-strap, maybe you should try it on at the BV store sometime (if you haven't done so). Anyway, both bags are nice, so even if you decided to go for the carmino veneta in the end, it's still a good choice!

thanks so much alisonanna for the threads! your cassis campana looks fab on you!!!! how are you liking it now? has it broken in nicely? it looks like it would be easy to carry over a winter coat.
thanks shopaholic&baby for your thoughts! my mom actually has the campana in ebano, i should carry it around a little to see how i like it. i was actually ready to buy the campana, then i got a headsup on the veneta so now i'm just confused!!! heh. i like them both and i guess it's a matter of deciding which bag looks better in the color... hmmm, decisions, decisions! |

Another vote for the campana.
Viva variety!I don't have one but recently tried it on and loved it. The magnetic closure is quite tight and I think the strap issue can be easily addressed by the tip provided by the fabulous campana owners here. ![]() Good luck deciding! (and no worries about the pic) |

As a carmino Veneta owner, make a guess which one I voted for?

Any bag looks great in carmino.
You can fit more in the medium veneta and still zip it than what fits in the campana before the magnets no longer close.

I usually diversify - so since you have Venetas, you should get a Campana IMO!
Remember to post your decision. Good luck!

Should get the Campana since you already have a Veneta.

Get the Campana since you do have the Veneta already. It's a very fetching colour!

hi ladies,
thanks so much for all your thoughts. i was ready to make the plunge for the campana... then i found out that the campana for sale, even though they called it "red" it was actually cassis rather than the carmino... so i guess the decision has been made for me! but as many of you have said, either bag in carmino would be *fab* thanks so much! i'll post pictures once i get it!
