Looking at pics and everyone hand-carries.
Is Montaigne a hand/arm bag only? |

You can lengthen the straps and carry it on your shoulder, but probably not with a coat or jacket on. It would sit quite close to your armpit though.

On their longest length the straps can fit on my shoulder when I am wearing no coat or a light coat - and my upper arms are not the most... well, streamlined. To be most comfortable on the shoulder, however, I find it has to do the "sinking Titanic" thing... which isn't the best look.
So I think of the Montaigne as a hand/arm bag that in a pinch can go on my shoulder for a while when I absolutely need both hands/arms free - but I don't consider it a "full-time" shoulder bag. But I love it just the way it is!! |
