So DH and I celebrated our third anniversary this week. Like a VERY good DH, he headed to BV to find the right present for me. Apparently the SA showed him a limited edition Cabat and DH balked at the $6K pricetag because what could I fit in there and wow, that much for BV, how much is Hermes?! I guess he did not look at the prices on the beautiful croc styles!

After a delicious dinner, he surprised me with the beautiful bag I had been eyeing at the NYC boutique last month.

So without further ado ... introducing Miss Grape Tornabuoni!

It has some light and dark tones depending on the light. And the detail is so incredible. I can't wait to see how this drapes over time. Since this is a medium veneta, I had to try it on with a coat to check out the drop length. At 5'7, it's a good size on me.

DH received a little BV for his present - a nero nappa wallet. All in all a lovely evening with my husband and some pretty arm candy! Also, I explained my delight at having another bag to add to the rotation (and why and when I carry certain bags) and DH seemed to think it makes sense to have a few nice ones and inquired about what is next on my list. I think I have a convert, or at least a sympathizer!

And one additional reveal - NYC has a great selection of the Diams collection. I got a belt in Truffle.

Happy Anniversary - Was it your 3rd (traditional leather) or 9th (modern leather)? Or was the title of your thread tongue in cheek? At any rate I'm sure you could "massage" the meaning of each year to make it apply to BV....

You new bag is very pretty and thank you for the modeling pics. Please add them to the BV in action, and the ref library threads in purple and Veneta sections. And the rest? Wow!

That is wonderful! I think leather is a great anniversary present. But after 25 or so, you may need to change to diamonds, I mean a girl does need variety!
