It's on a consignment site so I have no idea what year it might be from. Would greatly appreciate it if anyone has a clue!

It's a vintage bag, maybe not one of the oldest styles. It would help if they had a clear pic of the metal name plate.

I don't think they named their older bags or colors. It looks like a taupe which was used for a lot of bags. Do you mind saying how much they are asking?

Here's a picture of the tag:

They are asking $512 for the bag. Is that reasonable? The condition looks good in the photos. The straps don't show darkening and the piping (which usually takes the beating) looks great.

Hi adoptastry, I have a vintage BV that I've been searching for info on. I think it's the same bag as the one you're showing! Is it made of woven hemp/rope/straw?
