Default Can any of you BV experts help?
I've been a member of TPF for a while now, but mostly only in the LV forum. It only occurred to me this week that perhaps those of you in the BV forum could help me out with a BV newbie question...

I bought this purse in NYC at BV last Summer, and I have no idea what it's called. (It's my first BV, and I don't know anything about it! LOL)

The body is a woven fabric, and the trim is a super soft leather... I've checked the style reference threads, and my purse doesn't look anything like the ones listed...

Can anyone please help? TIA

I can post the pic for you, but not do the identification. Pretty bag!

Hmmmm..... never seen this style before but it sure looks to be a very comfy bag.... did you get this from a BV boutique? Perhaps bring it to one and ask for the SAs to identify if it has a name. HTH.

I did buy it from the boutique, but I feel silly asking an SA "what's my purse called?" LOL I was hoping someone here might know. (There are no BV boutiques in Canada, so I'd have to go to a department store to ask, and I highly doubt they'd have as much expertise as the folks on TPF...)

You are certainly right there... Holts is about the only place in Canada that carries BV (in Vancouver there is also Leone but I don't think there is anywhere else in Toronto) and from my experience (and that shared by others here) the SAs at Holts know pretty much NOTHING about BV... Sigh.

It's an older style. It doesn't really have a name, more or less, the "small boston bag". It was also available in leather, but yours is the canvas, trimmed in leather. Your collection also came in a open tote style, along with a larger version of yours that you can wear over the shoulder.

Mehehehe...

I would the last person to be an expert, since my knowledge about BV bags only spans from Spring/Summer 2007 to 2008, and only from the fashion show collections, and not the main collections

Kudos to bv.luxury for solving the riddle!
