hi all,
1st time on BV forum, i have this tote for a while now, dont' use it much due to the heavy weight. I really love this design but every time is like a work out carrying it. my question is.. does anyone else has issue with the weight of the BV bag?

Hello, pink18820, fellow new jerseyan. Your rugiada tote is really beautiful! I have a little pouch in this design and love it dearly.
I think the patent and suede combination makes the rugiada bags on a hard and heavy side, especially compared to the napa bags like veneta that everyone raves about its light weight and comfiness (among many other reasons). I don't find my BVs to be heavy, but I think ReRe has this tote (maybe a different size) and I remember annie9999 mentioned that one of her cabats is quite heavy, so let's wait for others to chime in! |

i have a large vachette cabat and i find it very heavy. the problem is that i also love it. i am actually thinking the medium cabat in vachette may be the answer. or am i deluding myself and i'll wind up with two bags that i find too heavy.
your bag is beautiful and i understand when i bag is just too heavy. |

Hello, pink18820 - I'd tried this bag in NM last year but passed it because of its heavy weight. Just wondering how heavy it is ? 3 lbs ?
It is a gorgeous bag though. If I had this bag, I would use it only when I don't need to walk around with it for long, especially doing shopping. |

I'm still looking for my lovely BV bag now. Just wanna stop by to let u know your tote is so beautiful, esp I love the color. For me I won't care how heavy it is as long as I love my bag. (Same as my Chloe)

First off, your tote is beautiful! I'm always attracted to the mixed woven look. But I have arthritis and my shoulders, arms and hands can't take heavy bags, so I lean to the Nappa styles (Veneta and others) or the Cervo which is slightly heavier. Most BV's don't have much hardware and that helps.
If it's too heavy for your liking, try one of their lighter styles, which will be plentiful. |

I got the exact same tote sometime back and sold it after using it once as it was very heavy :( But its a lovely bag so if weight is not a concern do keep it :)
