^If you like the orange more, go for it. Between the 2, I'd choose cinnamon.

Burnt orange is very eye-catching and a lovely pop of colour but cinnamon is more neutral IMHO. Both are great choices but if someone had a gun to my head and I had to choose I'd go with cinnamon.

The orange is pretty, but I couldn't wear that in a bag (I would buy accessories though).

I think the cinnamon would be such a beautiful neutral color.

Did you try them on? Which one did you like on yourself more?

Both are nice. It looks like I'll be the odd one out here, but I'd pick the ORANGE. I have a bright orange handbag (not BV) that I love in the summertime. I get compliments on it by strangers every time I use it--I think it's the eye-catching color combined with the classic elements of the design.

I love color. I like neutrals, too, but for me, cinnamon wouldn't have as much contrast with my skin tone as I usually like. I tend to go for darker neutrals. Cinnamon is a pretty color, though, so it's up to you!

Just get whichever one makes you happier to see when you go to the store next time.

I think cinnamon too. I have some very bright bags that I sometimes wonder should I carry this bag when I am wearing this color? I'm not saying I try to match...I try not to clash! You won't ever have that issue with cinnamon .

Good luck with you decision!

Burnt Orange without a doubt for me. I almost got an Orange Montaigne myself but chose another BV in Orange instead and I love the colour and how it really really accents your clothes. The Montaigne shape can be quite "common" and I think Orange would really liven things up!

Default THank you for all your great advice!
Here are my decision:-

I will go for the burnt orange for this Montaigne. It is truly a happy bright color, and i know i will miss it if i dont take her home.

BUT -

I will get another BV in cinnamon - any suggestion for which model?

If I didn't see your montaigne collection I would have thought that it was an innocent suggestion

i say get the hobo bag in cinnamon - not a weave - a more casual almost hippie bag if you will, but SOOOOO gorgeous to the touch! if you can still find it (hawaii had one last week?) it is the softest thing ever. i tried one on with UCLABOI and did NOT want to put it down. This style fits so well. I was worried about scuffing since it is such a soft leather, but i was told you could smudge the scuffs in a bit with you fingers if any occur.

it is like this one, but smaller or maybe it is the settantasei but in cinnamon (and therefore on sale) ... so hard to tell

http://www.bottegaveneta.com/shoponl...76df1&page=all

of course, the more i type the more i think, why didn't i take it home with me?

trying to be good and keep to my list of two items. :)

i shall now stop talking outloud to myself on tPF
