Should be roughly in the 2.5 k area. I have the N-S version without any stripes and love it. Although, handle area could be sturdier.

The multicolour cabat is really stunning! Thank God! I hope too that it will be available in medium!

ReRe and Kassandra. - I wrote my SA, Bryan, about the multicolored cabat. He checked with the buyer: it will come in three different sizes - medium included but the areas for which it will be produced will be determined later. I have more information to check, and when I have the answers, I will post.

I need to save up for that Cabat! I'm hoping that it's in nappa.

how is the purple vachette different from the purple/bordeaux red vachette that is now in store for fw09? the one i saw in the shop today (hong kong) doesn't have the red racer stripe in the middle but i stood there for about 10 minutes just drooling all over it!

Thank you Baggiana. I would love to know more about this particular bag! I'm also trying to figure out the colours. I can see black, brown and beige. Is there also some gold in it or is it just me?

I'm not sure if that is good news or not, this may be the cabat that makes me take the plunge. I'm going to AC Bottega next week. I want to look at the cabats and see which size I would want, hoping its the medium.

have fun in ac and enjoy trying cabats. i think the medium is the perfect size. the large is very beautiful and dramatic but it is a lot of bag- for me- for every day use. looking forward to hearing your opinions after your trip. enjoy.

uclaboi - Thank you for sharing all the photos! It was fun to see the new styles. I love that BV has such a great selection of items for men!

The medium is also the right size for me, even though I am tall. The large was just gigantic looking. It would be great for a carry-on bag, or for a man.

The multicolored Cabat is really striking. ReRe, have fun trying on Cabats!

Kassandra., ReRe and uclaboi - I do have some additional information about the multicolored cabat. My SA said that the buyer said that the cabat is made from nappa umbria employing a tie dye tecnique and described the color as cigar/ivory/moro. The fettuce are not flat but tubular, so that it feels padded (I do not know if it is actually padded or just a double layer - does this make it heavier?) and extremely soft - and beautiful (but we could tell that from the pictures!). BV is doing amazing things to leather way beyond just dying it, IMO!!! It sounds amazing, and the price is about 50% higher than the Peid de Poule. It will be bread and water for the next several years...

ReRe - have a wonderful time in the AC BV... wish I was there! Please let us know what you think.

Baggiana - Thank you for getting the info about the Cabat. Sounds like the price is going to be around $7200-$9000 , similar to the Tea Rame Cabat. And if it's going to be double layer or padded strips, it might be heavier...

That price takes me out of the hunt. At that price it will probably be really limited. Sounds incredible. Figures it will probably be the one I want.
