Yay, my 1000th post!

Can`t believe I posted so much already, being barely one year on board. And almost all of the posts here on the BV sub!

Anyways, here`s what crossed my mind: As some of you already know, I will be spending 3 to 4 months in New York City for an internship beginning in April and since I know there are a couple of you ladies and gents in the area, plus some of you plan a trip down from Canada, I was thinking we could finally have a BV meet!

How about we visit the boutique together or even take a trip together to the Woodbury Commons outlet? Perhaos around one of the holidays where they`ll have special sales?

Let me know what you think and I hope I finally get to meet some of you wonderful BV lovers!

Congrats on your 1000th post! I still have a long way to go! lol

OMG... im going during to Woodbury during the Easter Weekend! I'm not sure which day I will be at Woodbury (prob Sat or Sun) but I can try to adjust for the meet if you guys are meeting around that time! I have my heart set out on a couple of things!

do you know what special sales do they have?

I'm in!!

I'm definitely in!! We can go to the boutique, Saks, Bergdorf, and Barney's to check out all the BVs!! and H is right across from Barney's too. I'd be happy to drive up to Woodbury also.

Claus, I am so excited for you, and so looking forward to meeting you in person!! Have a grand time in the city! And, congratulations on your 1000th too!! I always enjoy your posts.

Syma, if I could splurge on a trip to London (which actually is not that expensive right now, but I can`t spend any single cent before I go to NY), I`d surely meet you on Sloane Street or Bond of for high afternoon tea at Fortnum & Mason. Gosh, I miss London

Mystiletto, so we`ll count you in then. I`ll come up with some dates and I`m sure we`ll figure something out!

c_24- don't know if you have ever been to nyc before but you will love it.
will be away some of april- actually will be in london- syma
and going to vermont to visit with my son and his girlfriend in may for his 23rd b-day. otherwise should be around.

Darn! I'm actually going to be in NY the weekend of the 21st of March! Not sure I could come back again in April but I'm open to it!

Aww, this is exciting...I might be free during my spring break, which is in 2 weeks...otherwise, maybe a weekend in late April when I don't have exams or over summer when I finish my rotation...we'll see if someone can actually pull a meet together...

Am going to the H sale on the Friday; trying to keep expectations low based on what others have said, though. And I don't think I'll have the time (or the $$) to do Woodbury Common and the BV outlet

mistikat- i don't really care about the sale. i'm kinda set for the moment and sometimes i wind up getting things i don't really want when things are on sale. i do better and ultimately get better value buying when i want something even if it is full price. i may go because i've never been just to see what is there.
your collection is fabulous and i hope you find things you love.
