this is beautiful! i think there are pix of bags in lilac in this thread

did you see the pix of the reflect cabat posted a few pages back? it looks like a darker purple, but totally scrumptious!

yes i saw the reflect cabat, another admirable piece from tomas maier, i m not sure if i want an encore of metallic cabat though

i also saw the reflect cabat and although it is beautiful, i am also not sure i would want another "metalic". truthfully the high price is more of and issue right now.

I have heard the Reflect is a burgundy with a bronze overtone. Is this true? More in the red family than purple??? And bronze, not pewter???

I have not seen the Reflect but I imagine it would be beautiful. The price is what is making me hesitate in leaving down my credit card. Perhaps a dusty lilac will be a better deal.

Bryan says the color is a burgundy/bronze, in nappa, made with the same material/technique as the Peltro cabat

Thanks castorny. I am eager to hear from people who have actually seen it, and their color descriptions. I was once hopelessly in love with the Platino Ossidato Cabat. The pictures spoke to me. Then I saw it IRL, nothing like the pictures, not a hint of Pewter/Platinum, it was gold. I am a silver/grey metallic lover (except for Ottone on goatskin), so I would really like to see the Reflect in natural (non-flash photographic) lighting.

I agree with you on the Platino Ossidato. I was expecting silver/grey tones and it is more of an antique gold. I kept looking at it harder and harder trying to find the PLATINUM.
