Baggiana, you make me laugh and we have so much in common, including a black mother of pearl faced watch with diamonds...but I wear mine to the beach, in fact I did today. Its a Tag Heuer Link.

I can't stop admiring your avatar pic with, it is ferro with your tahitian pearls. I have Mikimoto tahitian studs and would love a matching strand.

The reflec cabat was too colorful for me (purple and pinky and too metallic) to get alot of use out of. I want something neutral but not solid black or brown. I am still so thinking of the spring summer 2010 men's cabat, why do I have to love the one with the special process that will be so much more than regular cabat???

I will do that tomorrow - and I may be misremembering it, as it's been a few days since I looked at it. I'll take photos of it with my tea Campana, too.

I did suspect that we had similar taste in many things, ReRe... now watches! To the beach???... well, no beach near me (lots of rivers, though). But I do wear mine to pilates - but not to weight training, as I am afraid that I would drop one of those puppies on it... silly, I know! - sometimes I even fall asleep wearing it - I love it so!

Thank you! Yes my avatar is a close-up of my SO ferro/ottone karung large veneta w/ my black tahitian pearls... a gift from DH for our 30th anniversary (to match my watch)... and the matching earrings this past year for my milestone (think >50) birthday. His jewelry presents are always a surprise, and very lovely. He loves to see me wear them - with anything, even casual!... and I love to wear them too!

Back on topic: Pink and purple... that would be lilac - the color of the season... I do know what you mean!... beautiful, but not universal. I would have to see this one IRL to know whether it would work for me. I like the look of the SS2010 in pics, but suspect that it is heavy, and it is $$$. We do have similar taste!

BTW - I saw the mini crochet on eBay today... but I am saving for a cabat to be decided - maybe.

Thanks for uploading these pics. First time see the Reflect under direct sunlight. very interesting color.. curious to find out how BV process this one

Photos of Bramble Tornabuoni Large Veneta and Tea Large Campana. I have no idea if the Bramble color is like Hermes Rouge, since I'm not familiar with Hermes, but I hope these help a little anyway.

Goldenflower,

Thanks so much for posting your pictures. It is really helpful seeing what all these colors look like beside each other and outdoors! Your pictures really make me want a tornabuoni!!

Get one! I love mine already - and I haven't even used it yet. (I got nero, by the way.)

goldenflower - thanks for the pictures. that is very interesting, the bramble looks very different in the non-glazed treatment, a bit redder, which is exactly what happens with rouge h. again, i am assuming that what i saw was a bramble sloane

The US BV boutiques bought this bag in mineral (very happy to hear a traditional bag come in that color) and uluru.

they also had some lovely traditional venetas in elephant and a gorgeous bramble sloane. if you like Rouge H, you will like bramble. yum!
doloresmia, is this similar to the veneta that you saw? It is very intriguing(sp?)!

^^ That's the design I saw in veneta yesterday. Each square is sewn on and it creates an interesting effect.

And, speaking of SO, I think we need bags4fun's SO info too along with annie's and Baggiana's.

I love the reflect colors, but would like to have it in a Capri.

It makes sense that glazed vs. non-glazed leather might appear very different. I'm sure that bramble Sloane was beautiful!

Exactly, except the entire veneta was mosaic not just the bottom detail. very interesting and lovely

^^^ Did the Veneta seem any heavier? Actually it may be lighter since it doesn't have all the woven strips.

venetas are sooo light to me i did not notice any difference in the weight. the only thing was it is not soft like the normal nappa, stiffer.
