I really like the color of it, and I'm tempted because you say it seemed durable. Is it one open compartment, or divided? Anyone else have info on the leather? Is it heavy?

If this were a Cabat, I'd be in some serious trouble!

This is the new grape color. Don't know which bag, though. Gorgeous! Courtesy of Sharon at BV - AC

If (very, if) I recall correctly, it has a center zipper pocket with an open section on each side. I quite like the bag... My "issue"...a binder or "stiff" magazine would be a couple inches higher than the sides of the bag.

Thanks. I think the center divider is a deal-breaker for me. Too bad!

Visited the NYC 5th Ave boutique today and saw a number of the new colors. They didn't have Grape, but did have Lilac, Elephant, Truffle, Dark Truffle, Uluru, etc. Lilac is a very nice color - the most tempting for me this season so far. I really liked Elephant when I saw it in the catalogue (the pic of the Elephant Roma looked very similar to Old Petra), but in real life it is actually much more of a taupe (no purple undertone). Truffle is sort of a grape with a burgundy undertone. Uluru is definitely a sandstone / orangey red. Hope this is helpful for those of you who haven't been able to see in person yet!

Thanks, kcm1535, for the report. Too bad they don't have grape yet. Did you see reflet?

Wow! Just from reading the various threads, it seems like the reflet, while proclaimed beautiful is being passed over and/or returned by most - is anyone keeping it besides shopaholic&baby? I will have to see it IRL someday!
