Anyone knows the new colours of sloane?
Ferro is not officially a classic color. But many of us would love it to be!

Moro is not an off white, it is a dark chocolate brown. Take a look at the color reference library for examples of Moro.

I do not know the new colors for Sloane, or if it is in the stable of F/W 2009. But I am moving this thread to the F/W 2009 thread.

reflet = reflect; reflection in french. might be a translation thing?

The reflect cabat is so gorgeous! Thank you Doloresmia and Bryan for the pics!

Anyway, I went by my local BV boutique yesterday and there were some of the F/W pieces available. I saw the pied de poule cabat which I really don't like. In fact I think IRL it is worse that in the pics (please excuse me I hope I don't offend anyone, it is just my personal taste). There were some Venetas in a dark orange almost light brick colour. Is that the uluru? Because from the pics I was under the impression that it was a somewhat darker colour but the one I saw is quite orangey. There were some mens bags in cervo. The only bag I liked was the intreciatto capretto Veneta in black. The multi woven effect was really nice but I think somewhat dangerous for sensitive clothes! Anyway I think I am safe this fall. I will wait patiently for the new S/S collection!

One of the lovely AC SAs said that they received Venetas in grape, truffle and Lilac. She said that the lilac was absolutely gorgeous. I am waiting for some pics to be emailed which I will post soon, I hope!

Oooh! I hope you get them soon, kroquet. I am very intrigued by the lilac and want to see the grape too (more for curiosity's sake - I don't think I'd buy it).

kroquet - Have you considered the reflect/reflet Cabat instead of the copper one? I think it would be a great choice for you! I'd love to have it but I'm not sure I can justify it, given I already own a Cabat that's sort of/kind of similar in color. Even though platino ossidato is more gold than copperish, it's still in the brown color family. Am I right?

Goldenflower - I think that the Cabat is out of my budget. Sadly.

The SA said the Lilac was one of the most beautiful colors she had EVER seen. Can't wait for the pics!!! Truffle was very chic, she said.

I saw the Reflet Cabat IRL at the Chicago store today and if I had the $5700 or whatever the price is, I would buy it. It's the most amazing color--almost a marbled look to the various colors of the leather. It's nappa so will get softer. Photos cannot do it justice!!! It only comes in a medium Cabat and as you've heard just 25 in the US, and 125 in the world.

Arghh, it was so hard to leave the store without that bag on my arm!

Oh, it just sounds so amazing! Since you've seen it, do you think it's too similar to the platino ossidato (which I have)?
