didn't pay much attention. Sorry! Both colors were light and I am more of a torbolence gal.

There was a knot in grape, I think it was an intrecciato grosgrain silk.

Really? I always thought that grape is darker than lilac and has a darker red/maroon hue than torbolence...... hmmm....

doreenjoy - I wish I had been with you! I did not realize that Fall was already in the boutiques. What was the "stretch" Knot like. What about it stretched? Or do you mean it is longer, like a stretch limousine?

I think next season calls for a light coloured BV

The grape knot sounds YUMMY.

I'm not sure - I do have a bag (although not a Montaigne) in Old Petra and am thinking the Lilac may be too similar, or even if not too similar in colour that it would be too similar in what I could wear it with out of my wardrobe... but it would definitely be different than all of my other Montaignes!

Oh yes, I forgot about your other bag, which is really beautiful as well.

But I was thinking of your montaignes, which were made up of fairly strong colours and I think Lilac will soften them up
