It is the nature of the beast. I would call it patina. The strips of nappa are cut thin and can "fray and roll." Remember this is a natural product that is handmade. That means that there are differences and irregularities - which you can view as beautiful or a fault - but I believe that it is to be expected and is part of the beauty of the piece. If you want it to remain pristine, don' t use it, just keep it in the dust bag... which is not what I would do. Learn to see the aging as natural and beautiful. These are not stains, tears or rips... I consider stians, tears and rips damage and faults.

But you really don't think these little things effect the beauty of the entire bag? Or the producers need to improve some techniques? Thanks! |

take it back to ur sa and show them
BV stands behind their merchandise. The Fettuce are thin strips of leather woven into the larger back piece of leather they are thin but they should not curl
