I was surprise too, on the catalogue there was a light brown version. The Sales Assistant told me the Black one was made specially for Hong Kong. It took me a while to decide which colour will give me better mileage. I know I have many brown bags... I think I am kind of a sucker for brown.... 2 Ballys, 1 Prada, 1 more brown bag from Mulberry... all my friends tell me that all my bags are brown only in different shade. So with a leap of faith, I decided on the black one, no turning back, I can use it for a more formal event ...

The sandals were never brought into the Singapore BV shops, I saw them in Hongkong when I bought the black tote bag

I remember casually pointing out to the Sale Assistant that I have splurged enough and will not be buying anything else unless they are on sales, before I would even reconsider. I was surprise that after 2 months I received an oversea call from HongKong BV which inform me they are on 30% less and they can put it aside for me if I would like to have the sandals. Talk about service!

I never encounter such attention to details of a customer casual remark; further more a foreign customer! The rest is history, I suppose

I am please with my purchase and when I was thumbing through the fashion magzine recently about leather sandals, I know I have a one of a kind here in Singapore, and the exceptional service of a wonderful BV Sale Asistant in HongKong

bloppy - welcome to BV subforum! It's nice to see more guys on the forum. That black tote is awesome. I didn't know black was available (I thought the Tea color was the only color). I like the sandals, too. Enjoy them!
