raz96 - I have the Old Petra Roma too and I'm loving it very much..... I used to carry it with its handle at the shortest but of late, I lengthen it to the maximum and loving it more this way - I now carry it on my shoulders and it gives off a slightly different look than when one hand carries it.

mlbags, i am seriously considering your tote. i do love its shape, and the colour is really growing on me. its great that you can lengthen the handles. two bags in one!!! NAP, still has one on its website.

It's not that I don't like the Roma tote. I really love it. I just have to make sure I can use it. Because I don't have a BV boutique nearby and the NM I go to doesn't carry everything I have to place orders either through the Personal Shopper or, in the case of the Roma, NAP. As an aside, if it wasn't for this forum I wouldn't know about all the great BV's available. I need to spend quality time with the Roma, because it is a sale item, I have to contact NAP within the week for an RMA to return it.
Here is what I like so far about the tote:
The Old Petra color is versatile. It looks like I can use it all year.
The leather is so, so, so soft.
The suede lining is scrumptious.
It is divided into three compartments. I can organize the bag.
I think I can use it as a shopper.
The handles are adjustable.
It works with the accessories I have.
I bought it for a great price.
All that being said, I think we all know that I'm keeping this tote.

Congrats in deciding to keep this tote..... I only hesitated a wee bit in buying due to its price as it's my most expensive bag todate.... felt very guilty spending so much but the guilt went away when I grew to like it more ...... I believe we both made the right decision to splurge on this bag .... I'm now on a self imposed purse ban but no regrets!

uclaboi I hope I teach my son that you can't go wrong when you give mom BV. He's two, I'm working on it.

myindulgence I saw the magnolia pink and fell in love. What I like is the pink goes well with brown and chocolate brown, during the fall/winter I can still carry the wallet and have something to remind of the spring/summer.

mlbags This puts me on a purse ban, too. I won't buy another bag until September/October.

raz96 I'm going to do some enabling. Get the tote, you won't regret it.

As promised, time for some updates on my growing collection (yes I've been a bad girl ). Also since we upgraded our camera, the pic quality this time round should be better. And finally, with much improved internet/computer skills, am at last able to share photos that are kinder to the eyes.

The only member missing here is my new Noce shoes which was purchased in the current sale together with the Quarzo cosmetic pouch. The shoe is being "conditioned" presently as it was the last pair in my size.

how do you like the cocker bag? i saw the malva stingray cocker from f/w 06/07 and was thinking of getting it for mom for her birthday. is it heavy? she likes bags that aren't too heavy.
