Default Bottega Veneta's Orange Hobo...a color question
Orange Hobo. Has anyone seen this IRL? and if yes - how "orange" is it? TIA!

I am confused. Is this a new bag? There were a few oranges in the past year. There was a very tangerine orange in last years resort collection. Then there were some copper bags that were either pumpkin orange or metallic penny orange.

I'm editing this title to make it more descriptive.

That bag is more like a cooked pumpkin color to me. I saw it last January at the Chicago BV. It was from SS 2009. There should be some pics in the SS09 thread: Spring/Summer 2009! Pics and discussion here. UPDATE at post #211!

Thank you! I'm trying to find my first BV. Not 100% sure about the orange as I don't think it will go with much. But still thinking on it. Thanks again!

This bag came through my hands on it's way to a friend overseas, the color is the perfect Orange, it's a burnt orange, not a bright Orange at all. It's a color you can wear right up to December and all Spring & Summer.

Here is a picture I took while it was here. Sold my on the Cervo Hobo BTW.

Ladies, if I may, I saw it at Saks. It looked to me like a cognac color. (A very rich brown with a hint of burnt orange hue.)I wouldn't describe it as orange and agree with LT. It can be worn from spring thru the fall.

luvprada - color aside...that style is heavenly. It has come in a few different colors since it was introduced. The cervo is so squishy, chewy, slouchy, and smells great. I have the oxidised copper version. If the orange isn't speaking to you, consider another color, you cannot go wrong with the style.

Here's mine--it could be called an orange. The color is actually cinnamon.

Here's the overstock.com one....

So maybe it could be cinnamon?

I got one from Overstock too :) It's more orange than the Overstock pic which does look like ssc's cinnamon bag, but the color code matches the non-metallic copper code. It's like old-basketball-orange if that helps too. LOL. I think that's why DH likes it so much he offered to fund it - I need to keep finding bags that appeal to his sports-sense!

mibolsa posted a fab pic of the copper cervo hobo here: Bottega Veneta in Action!
