I thought it was an off-white Cabat or Cabat-like bag that was shown on one of the pictures of Cruise but I am sure she was referring to this particular bag.

Has anyone 'caressed' it yet ?

I am not interested in the bag, I am just wondering how annoying that sound would be over time if in fact that is really a 'feature'...
i love that sound.

haven't seen the "straw bag" but it may have my name on it. does anyone have any details. how big is it compared to a medium cabat, are the straps adjustable- will it go over the shoulder and what color/s does it come in?

I don't mind at all. I love carrying bags on the "hook" of my arm or carrying on my shoulder ; the flat/square straps make that more comfortable, [bag seems] less-weight and not "dig-in" my shoulder. [just my opinion]

Can't wait to see SS2010 handbags ! I also hope BV will have some less than 3-inch shoes !

That pink clutch beside Yolk (yellow)... is that Orchid? Were there any icon bags in that color?

I just got the notice for BV's trunk show in NY. Am actually thinking about going this year and was wondering who else is thinking about attending? Can I bring others? Is there an admission fee? When I call for RSVP, which option do I choose? Corporate office?

Sorry for all the questions, I've never been to a trunk show before.

annelovepuggy, here is some information from bryan about the paille bag

Price is $5700

Handles are croco and are adjustable. NICE feature I must say

The weave is Intreccio Nuvolato - similiar to the tie-dye, only available in color "paille" (straw in french).

i must say i am a big fan of the pix of intreccio nuvolato - cannot wait to see some bags in it IRL!

Trunk shows are free -- they want to show off the new bags! When you RSVP, tell them you'll be bringing a friend.

IME *all* stores want more bodies in the store for a trunk show so that it looks busy to the VIPs who are there from corporate.
