it was raining bvs at the chanel boutique in singapore!

i saw 2 ottone medium cabats! they were friends and had matching bags which i really thought was kinda weird. and there was a lady with a white veneta with the flower cut outs... the poor bag was almost grey. i nearly cried because the poor bag was so mistreated! and there was me with my ottone sloane. all at the chanel boutique. that really cracked me up.

Two ladies were eating lunch in santa monica with their red maxi royale and silvery colored large veneta. i wanted to ask what the color was, but they did not look in such a friendly way as my DD, my aurora veneta and i were passing by on our way for tea and cookies at a nearby cafe where reese witherspoon and her nero veneta visit for the best coffee in santa monica. the cafe is great because there is a lady with an oceano zip wallet who goes every morning (i want to touch her wallet) and then a bunch of goyard tote carriers. not a fan of the goyard myself.

I can't belive this.
3 sightings of the gorgeous Ossidato Platino Cabat in one church service (Singapore) this morning alone!

2 of them in Asian size
1 in the medium size, worn by a lady with DH and 3 school going children.
Scrumptious!

mlbags: Which church were you at? I saw a large ebano veneta last week during service at my church.

I had lunch at Toast today and the pregnant lady next to me was carrying a ball bag. It looks like a shade of orange/red. I was trying my best to be discreet but anyway, the bag looks orange under the certain lighting and more reddish when it was next to me.

Was at NTUC coronation plaza yesterday and saw a lady with an ebano Montaigne.

Was at NTUC at Bukit Timah Plaza just now and saw a lady with a large cabat in a lovely shade of brown that was neither ebano nor noce. It wasn't any of the exotic colours like PO or Ottone either. I wonder if that was noce that had darkened with age; if it did, then noce ages very gracefully.

Does anyone know if noce darkens with age?

What colours does the cabat come in other than nero, ebano, ottone and PO?

What's the difference between Asian size and medium? Is the Asian size smaller than the medium?

Also, how does the large capri tote compare with the cabat?

Sorry for the numerous questions, but I've never quite liked the cabat but having seen more and more it's beginning to grow on me.

88 keys : Sorry I can't answer your questions. But did you read the Sunday papers yesterday? Dr Low Chai Ling owns a huge cabat! My mum knows that I'm a BV addict and pointed it out to me.

Yes, I did. It's an ebano, I believe.

Yesterday I saw a lady at Raffles Place MRT [East bound at around 650pm], carrying a light beige (sorry am still not familiar with the colour) Solane. The bag looks so yummy! Oh.. I think I wld L-O-V-E to have 1 bag per style from BV!

Last week at Madam Milan (Raffles Place MRT) there was a light beige Large Veneta for sale. Thank god it's not a Ebano.. or else I might just be tempted again!

Ooo.. when is my BV arriving?

Yesterday, NYC on Madison Ave I spotted a very stylish Italian woman (she was speaking Italian into her cell phone) carrying an Almatura Medium Veneta. It just glistened in the daylight, it was so beautiful!

A guest stepped into the office for an event this evening and my heart skipped a beat. She was carrying a medium cabat. I am not sure of the shade but it is darker than Noce and lighter than Ebano. It looked pretty old and well used. It has a patina sheen to it which made it all the more gorgeous.

I kept sneaking peeks at it during the event and saw there was a pouch or something with a metal plate stating Bottega Veneta. Maybe that is really an old design? I have not seen much with metal plates on BV at all.

hi silvercloud, the ottone cabat also has a pouch attached and with a golden metal plate engraved with the name of BV and the number of the bag. :)

Hmm... wonder if it was the same lady I saw at NTUC Bukit Timah Plaza. It looked like glove tanned leather brown with a lovely patina. She was very fair with jet black straight shoulder length bob ala Anjelica Huston but without that scary gothic look.

^^ Thanks shopaholic&baby. I never realize it comes with the pouch and metal plate. That information helps a lot. It is always a joy to learn more about BV products

^88keys: I don't think it is the same lady. The lady I saw was very tanned with bleached blonde/sun-kissed hair. The more I think about it and also look at the picture (the bag was partially in the event photo too :P), I am wondering if it could be noce after it has been seasoned. I will see if I can crop the picture and attach it later.
