This looks like noce umbria but I'm not sure. The one I saw had a sheen to it and looked like a darker, reddish shade of brown.

Saturday at Stanford shopping mall... a chic lady with her dark grey dog ( I think it's a mini snoutzer s/p? dog) carrying the new pleated veneta in turbulence or baltic (it's kinda dark purpelish color)... I just wondering if she's a tpfer... The color is so gorgy...
I'm just an unattractive mom busy pushing a tandem stroller with a blue balenciaga bag on top of the stroller.

I saw a lady carrying a pale pink (which looked dirty/dusty) ball bag at the traffic light across from Bugis Junction today.

when: Saturday 25th July, 2008
where: NJ Transit from NY Penn to Trenton
who: a young lady
what: an Ebano shopper

I always thought ebano may look a bit too heavy in NYC summer, but it looked so cool!!

Friday, July 25, I was in the Tyson's NM, giving a quick look at the new BV colors. a lady at the counter was deciding between a black and purple (turbolence?) small pouch on a strap--very vintage-y looking. I mentioned it looked like a nice vintage bag and she showed me what she had on her shoulder (the side away from me)--a fantastic-looking black smallish rectangular woven shoulder bag with the tassel on the zip. It looked to be practically new. She appreciated my compliments; it was really lovely.

Catching a glimpse of a BV here in Germany is still a rare event, so here is mine:

Last week, I visited Munich and went to the local Muji store when a middle-aged lady with her DH and DS stepped out, carrying a Ferro Roma and checking out my YSL Raspail tote.

I was at United Square today and popped into a shop that sells pre-owned designer bags cos I spotted a large ebano veneta in there together with about 5 -6 Hermes Birkin & Kelly bags. I had just tried it on my shoulder and put it down when a lady in her 60s picked it up, brought it to the counter and paid cash for it! It was SGD1,880 and was in a very good condition with barely any scuffs and was worn in and hence very slouchy. Makes me want a large veneta too but what colour...hmmmm... SaskiaS's large Eclipse is making me drool...

88keys: Gosh, thank god I wasn't there! I was thinking of buying an Ebano Large Veneta someday... and at $1,880, it's really hard to resist! United Sq as in the mall in Novena? On which floor is that? Don't remember seeing one.

Yes, it was a good deal, and very well looked after. I don't remember what floor, but it's the same floor as Cold Wear and Giordano kids. There were several Hermes Birkins going for around SGD12,000.

I know this place. It's called Prestige Collection and it's on the 2nd floor, near the escalator but quite hidden away towards the left of the escalator.

88keys - Birkins for S$12k doesn't sound too bad . Do you happen to know if they are 30 or 35cm? Tempting, but have to resist so I cannot pay them a visit!

Yes, mlbags, it's tucked away near one of the exits. I have no idea what size those Birkins are, but I know they're quite a bargain. I didn't even ask to look at them for fear I'd succumb and break the bank!!

Was at Taka today and saw a teenager(!!) in the foodcourt with an orange well seasoned medium cabat - luscious! It looked authentic to me as the leather looked really yummy. I have no idea if cabats were made in that colour though.

Finally had a BV sighting. I don't know where all the BV's are hiding in S. California....but over the weekend at Nordstrom SCP, I saw a woman carrying her medium ebano veneta!
