Default Best work bag?
Not really a briefcase...

Must be able to handle a small laptop...

Appreciate any feedback.

I would suggest a Roma. It can fit a really small laptop.

Another vote for the Roma- best looking bag for work imo. Laptop will definitely have to be one of the smaller models to fit though.

I have the no-name tote and I love it. However, my laptop and file folders would definitely not fit....but what about the big square seamless tote -- the bag that retails at $3,680? It's big enough -- I don't know if it's sturdy enough though...

Cabat sounds like a good idea, the two layers make it sturdy enough. I wouldn't worry about the size of your laptop, but the weight. Bottega's leather can hold up pretty sturdily, but a 5 pound laptop could make it sag in the long run (I always see the leather around the handles stretch on my tote whenever I carry my laptop, so I try not to do it so often)

personally i wouldn't use one of the lambskin woven bags for a laptop -- i would use a plain deerskin bag with woven accents. i don't have one in mind but i'm sure bv has something that fits the bill.
