Default ASH - good news/bad news from Bryan
Ok - for those of us who have fallen in love with ash and were hoping it would appear in the classic bags, bryan confirmed you CAN indeed get a veneta in medium, but it is a special order only. Price would be $1940 - which isn't horrible.

On another piece of quite good news, he has the lovely armatura in a KNOT for $1700.

I think some of the lovely ladies with Knot-worthy lifestyles like Sum, Armcandyaddict, you know who you are.....

This is ASH

This is Armatura

as always, bryan is available at bv.luxury@gmail.com

Exactly what color is ash? When I went to the Tyson's Corner boutique, I saw a grey bag and I thought it was ferro. The SA told me it was ash. But, this picture of ash looks like it's taupe. I really like that bond bag! Thanks for the pictures!

Kopibaby - i of course would be happy to be your number one cheerleader for the ash veneta! it is a classic color, very sad it doesn't make the iconic list.

kiss_p - from seeing ash IRL, if my memory services, it is taupe more than it is grey. to me it looks like hermes etoupe, which i have only seen in pix so cannot be certain, if that helps. perhaps others who are better with the color wheel could comment as well? this bond bag is one of my favorites of the season too

IMHO, they are quite close...only the "undertone" are different...

^^I asked Bryan before the difference between limo and ash, he mentioned that limo is linen gray and ash is taupey gray. I am considering something in ash but wondering if it's too similar to my limo bag.

doloresmia, i saw the armatura knot in one of Mid-'s post. I thought it was beautiful and the color would be so versatile, but the size will not allow me to put all my junk in

UCLABOI - as sum and kopibaby said, ash is closest to limo IMO. for some reason i love taupe-like colors if you can call them colors.

Sum - maybe a long knot? i wonder if they make the armatura in a clutch like your lovely ottone. that would be perfect no? or is that too many clutches with your peltro on the way?

Now that's one more item for me to contemplate on, not that I'm leading the Knot worthy life at all... It's just so not easy that I get to choose only one, waaah!!!

^^ not sure what a knot worthy lifestyle is too but I like clutches and wear them with everything. The armatura one is TDF but so is the red croc

doloresmia, I have asked about SO for armatura like the ottone clutch, but it was declined. The peltro however went through. But so glad it turned out that way because now I can dream about the knot in armatura Will check if they produce this in the long knot..

I went to Tyson yesterday and saw TWO ash bags and, weirdly, they were VERY different colors. Both were intrecciato, so I would have expected color differences to be minimal. In fact, though, one was substantially more yellow/green than the other. I was astonished when the SA told me they were both ash. I'm now utterly lusting after the taupe-y one. I'm definitely on a ban, so it will be interesting to see how long I hold out!

I thought Bryan has confirmed that ASH would appear in iconic bags for resort 09? So now it's no longer so?

spendalot - i think he said he thought they might be made for resort 09, but needed to check. however, now he has since received firm news that they are not. it is a strange decision IMO. he did not mention the sloane, just said if anyone wants the medium veneta in Ash it has to be SO.

sum - i am so excited to see your peltro knot!!!! there was a red croc on ebay, but don't know what happened to it.
