Default Are they too similar...?
Right now I'm really interested in getting the Ebano or Nero Large Cabat...My friend thinks that it is too "similar" to the bags that I already own. I've attached the pictures of the bags. I bought the tote in January (I'm not sure what colour this is) and the shopper sometime during the summer last year. I guess they are similar in the sense that they are both "totes"...

Advice anybody?

IMHO, if you like a style and will use it, I see no reason why you should not get more than one of the same or similar. I have 4 Choo Mahalas, all different colors/leathers because I love the style so much. Who cares if the shape is the same?

You definitely need a cabat if all your bags are in the brown family then get the nero cabat! It's a lifetime investment!

your current collection only tells me that this style suits your lifestyle...that's probably why you are drawn to it.

the cabat will be an excellent addition, IMHO

go for it and do share...good luck!

Definitely not too similar! And even if they were, if you want the cabat get it!

i don't think they are too similiar.
the shopper is great and love the canvas tote but the cabat is very special.
since you have ebano you could go for nero if you wanted something different but the cabat is very special in ebano and nero so it is up to you. there are also some cabats out there now that are very different and wonderful.
so take a look and let us know what you decide.

Yes, similar but not too similar. I see you using those three in different occasions, and as others have said the tote style must be perfect for you.
That means, you will rock the Cabat!! I'd say go to the boutique and try them out!!

Thanks everyone for your advice!

I'll definitely need to head into a boutique soon to try one out. Too bad I'm so far away from one, and hopefully they'll have some in stock.

Since you seem to like totes, you should def. get a Cabat. It is such a piece of art.

Btw, I love your Limo sardegna canvas bag.

I think they definitely look different. The cabat is great, too, but much floppier.

As the others have pointed out, you obviously like this style of bags, so you should definitely get a Cabat! Since you already have a brown, and limo, my vote is for a Nero Cabat, cos it'll go with everything, and will complement your existing colours
