Hi ladies,
I have steered away from the BV thread for a while as it was becoming a dangerous obsession for me. Unfortunately, during that time period i got sidetracked by other brands but realized eventually that BV is still the best when it comes to quality and style (at least for me). So I learned almost a little bit too late that there's this huge sale going on. Fortunately, i was still able to jump on the sale bandwagon and order a medium Veneta in cinnamon. However I have a question about the small capri tote which is another style I'm hoping to snag. To those who own this, is it possible to put it over the shoulder? Looks to me like the handles are adjustable. I can manage to carry a 6" inch shoulder drop bag over the shoulder as long as I'm wearing one layer of clothing. I like it better than the shopper tote because of the additional hardware which makes it look so elegant. TIA! P.S. Will probably wont' be able to check in this thread till tonight. Have a great weekend! |

Hi Brandless - so glad you made your way back to BV! Congratulations on the Cinnamon Veneta... I haven't seen Cinnamon IRL but those who have love it. As for the small Capri, I don't have any useful information on that either as I haven't ever seen it IRL. I guess I just wanted to say welcome back rather than being of any use to you for answering your question!

I've seen this tote "in the leather" and I think it would be too small to get over the shoulder comfortably. Even very tiny folks, like Mari the SF SA, would probably not feel comfy with it over the shoulder.
Cinnamon is a gorgeous color and I'm sure you'll love the veneta. welcome back to the forum, btw! |

Doloresmia, thanks for the photos. The bag really looks so cute but still functional enough. I might just have to take the plunge and learn to hand carry a bag:)
Bookermoose & Doreenjoy, thanks for the welcome back posts! I am really excited to get the cinnamon veneta. I have used my ebano veneta all year round last year and decided to give it a break. It has softened so much and has slouched so beautifully. I've tried other hobos from other brands but nothing can compare to BV. All I can say is I'm just sorry for the money I've wasted on other brands, i could have probably purchased a couple of other Bottega styles instead. |

Now you make me feel very good about buying more than 1 in my very first BV BULK purchase!

Brandless, I have the small capri. The strap is adjustable, but the bag definitely does not feet on the shoulder unless you're teeny weeny. That said, it's utterly adorable. I hope you get one!

the handles on the large and small capri are decorative hardware they do not extend
