Default Any Feedback On The Intagli Intrecciato Veneta???
Hi, Does anyone own this bag in either the maxi or the large? (P.S. It's the new dark brown Veneta with stamping on the weave) Any feedback on how people like it? how does it wear? Will it drape like the normal nappa woven Venetas? How do you like it to the touch? Do you think this color is as easy to wear as Ebano in Nappa ?
Jburgh- do you own this bag in the maxi?

prestwick - I do have the Maxi size. For some reason, I never think of it as a Veneta. I love this bag. The double woven look is very interesting. Perhaps it is because I am a weaver, and complicated textures intrigue me. When it first came out, there was a thread about it, and many people just did not like the look. They dissed it! Imagine that, lol! It has been around for a few months now, and I hope people are warming up to it. It is softer than the plain weave nappa and deliciously slouchy. It feels like buttah! The color is listed on the tag as Ebano, but it has a little more of a burnt carmel character. Plus, it has some internal sheen it emits.

Have you tried it on? I recommend you do...but then again it would follow you home

^I was just going to ask you in the other thread in which you mentioned that you owned one if had any pics.

It looks very slouchy and delicious. I like the variation in the chocolate color too, it looks like it's a bit of a red brown.

beautiful!

I have seen it IRL and the leather is very much softer than the regular weave. Definitely a great bag in person!

This bag is STUNNING. It's buttery soft and the color is a rich, warm shade of brown - lighter and warmer than ebano, with variation in color throughout the bag. Did I mention that it's ridiculously soft? It is. :-P

No, I don't think you did, lol!

And you know what else? It really smells good, too.

jburgh, the larger then life pic of the weave convinced me I needed this bag. A large is on it's way. You're such an enabler!

LLANeedle - You will not regret your purchase...the texture is visually interesting and oh so soft.

can anyone tell me what colors this bag is available in? also, is this leather available in another style of bag (esp. Sloane). I love the look of the double weave in the leather...

it's only available in the ebano (in this style the ebano has reddish tones), and in veneta styles (medium, large, maxi) and it's limited edition. at least that's what my SA told me when i got it today in the medium.

i loooooooooove this bag. it gives ebano a certain oompf, and it's much softer, slouchier than the regular veneta. i went to exchange my ebano campana for the ebano medium veneta and the SA showed me the intagli option and i just fell in love. definitely a collector's piece.

in the medium size, the regular veneta is 1490, the intagli is around 1700... i forget the exact price, b/c i was exchanging, so didn't have to pay extra.

Yoga1566- the regular large Veneta is $1850, but in the Intagli it is $2160..the maxi regular weave is $2280, and in the Intagli it is $2420..

I hate to pay full price for any bag, but this one, like all things BV, is worth every penny!

i have to agree with the other posters - i've seen the intagli IRL and the leather is incredibly soft and luxurious!! i'm seriously considering purchasing the intagli too however, because of the leather's softness and the stamping pattern, i was wondering if that has made the bag much more delicate than the "regular" venetas?
