Baggiana, boxermom, peggy168, doloresmia, noddanard, pcarol, LV-PRADAfanatic, aaa_1188, Lululala, ssc0619 and Mid-: thank you for the lovely comments.

I wore the ayers flat sandals out today and they were fab. Still a bit tight around the front but it loosened up pretty fast at the back as I was able to slide in and out quickly. I'm hoping the front will be more forgiving to my wide feet soon.

Then I went to the boutique and tried the ayers sandals with the 4" heels. They were gorgeous! Now I am tempted by that too I was surprised that I could go one size smaller for the heels and the front felt much more comfortable than the flats.

Baggiana, have you worn your ayers flat sandals yet? It would be interesting to know your experience with them.

doloresmia: the clutch is not as soft as those of nappa as it is karung. I find it hard to hold or clutch the entire bottom (from bottom up) because of the "hard" base. Right now, the best I can do is to hold the side and partial bottom to get a good grip. But it is definitely a good size to tuck it under the arm. Maybe it is meant to be like that? I have never owned a clutch before, especially in this triangular shape.

noddanard: I think there is still a ferro clutch somewhere? I am not sure about the base for the usual woven nappa style. I don't see many clutches in my local boutiques. When I went to check a few weeks ago, there were only 2 or 3 small flap clutches and they were not nappa. I don't recall a hard base for the smaller clutches.

aaa_1188, Lululala, ssc0619: go get a clutch My new maxim in life, one should always have a clutch in the wardrobe for the "just in case" moments. Probably the reason why I always lug a big bag, it contains many "just in case" things

Wow, they are all so pretty! I just love those sandals. And the crimson wallet, too. Congratulations!

I'm sorry that they are tight, but at the same time I am relieved that they loosened up. I just yesterday finally received my ayers sandals, and was so sad that they are too tight in the forefoot. Maybe they will stretch a bit. My feet are just a bit wide too. But they are really gorgeous!

Thank you jelts :)

bags4fun: I'm also sorry that you are facing the same problem as me on the sandals. I think they will stretch over time after a few wears. ITA that they are gorgeous. Hope they will work out for you soon

I tried the sandals on and they were a little tight on me, too, but at the time, my feet were killing me! They are stunning sandals! Maybe wear them for a bit everyday until they strech a little. I almost kicked myself for not buying them, but decided to wait for some woven flats int he fall.

kroquet: I will try that. The 2nd time I wore them, it felt tight for the first few minutes, then it was ok again. The good thing was I did not get any blisters at all :)

What confused me about this style is that the heels version is actually more forgiving on the feet and I could fit into an entire size down. Very unlike the other BV shoes I tried or own.

Which woven flats will you be getting in the fall?

Who knows? I'll have to see what colors and styles are available. Wouldn't the woven flats be nice in the tea color or truffle? hmmm dreaming again!! lol

Default tight sandals
Johnson & Johnson just came out with this stuff called friction
you get it on the band aid aisle
it looks like a mini deordant
I swear this stuff was made by GOD
rub it on where shoes are tight and rub
no more rubbing
it is AMAZING!!!!!!!
