Hi ladies! I've been a long time lurker to the BV sub-forum, from when it was first made, but I've never owned a bag. Last Saturday I finally got the bag I've been wanting... The background story on how I came to be a proud mom. I hope you will indulge me as I am so happy with my purchase. LOL!

I have been hankering for a new bag for the last month or so, and I was looking around for an affordable fix, where I wouldn't have to spend a lot. I considered a couple of bags but when I showed them to DH (I like to get his input on whether they look good and whatnot) he didn't like them! They were either too plain looking or too trendy, according to him

So then I saw that the spring sale was on-going and I hurriedly rushed to see their offerings on the website. The mini Capri caught my eye and I showed the husband to consult. He liked it! But then I saw from some pictures that it was too small! The same thing with the mini shopper in azure, it was just a little bit smaller than what I would have liked. So I sadly told myself that I'll just have to wait for the winter sale to get my Bottega.

Then Saturday rolls around and I went to return something at Nordstrom. I decided to visit the handbag section and what do I see sitting at the designer sale table??? A crimson Campana! Needless to say it took me all of 5 minutes to decide to get it! I was so giddy that I cut my mall visit short and rushed home.

I'm so happy cause I've long ago decided that if I were to have a Campana, it should be red. Now I have one, and I got it for 50% off! I'm absolutely ecstatic!

So here are a few mediocre pictures of my new baby. Please forgive the mess as I just threw back the bed covers to get pictures. LOL. I will post better pictures on the weekend! Thank you for letting me share!

What a beautiful, red Campana bag. It's a wonderful feeling when you come across something you've wanted for a long time, and at such a great price. And when DH approves --- that's even better!

I know BV is addicting - I just saw the lilac Campana that Megs posted and I want it already! I want so many other bags and small leather goods too!

I've limited myself to just one bag per year, so I'll have to wait for the winter sale cause I can't justify buying another one soon! I'll probably end up selling my other brands cause I can see myself carrying only BVs.

The leather is just to die for!
