Default A trip to Napa...a new BV!!!
DH doesn't know it yet, but he already bought my anniversary present...jburgh and Bichon Lover are to blame for my call to Hawaii and my new Veneta in armatura.(please correct my spelling)

We met at Domain Chandon winery...jb was carrying her gorgeous Cabat and BL sported her new Veneta in ottone and here come four women, three of them carrying fabulous BV's! I was dazzeled!

Now, this is not my first BV, I have two others, but nothing as spectacular as this one...I am in heaven...and in trouble!

i am so jealous you got to see the peltro and ottone in person!

armatura is very very special

oooooooo, you are quiet and sneaky

You all should know we were in 2 cars at that point. We leave Domaine Chandon and head to our bed & breakfast to check in where we get out of both cars and jburgh and I tell her we have called Hawaii (I of course want to check on it imediately and jburgh of course has the # in her cell ) about the Armatura while in route the past 10 minutes and have 2 Veneta's on hold while they check availability on the Pyramid we saw on the beautiful young lady from Japan. She's amazed and or shocked at how sick we are to have attacked this in just a few minutes.

Well now.......someone is as sick as we are, just in slow mo! Congrats! Did you get the medium or the large madame?

I can so picture that entire scene. Great job, experts!

So, what is that special new pyramid all about?

mid- The young lady from Japan was carrying the Pyramid in Armatura. jb and I would like the Pyramid but he only had the Veneta's so we had him hold the Veneta's till he finds out if he can get the Pyramid's from Japan. He is working with the SO person to see if he can get them for us. If not there will be Armatura triplets!

This is a pretty exciting thread! .

BL, jmcadon, and I met up for a girls mini-vacation this past week. On Thursday, we were at Domaine Chandon for some champagne tasting and vittles. As we were sitting out on the patio, three Japanese women walk through the patio area, BL and my eyes do a . One of the women carried the perforated Veneta with the ruffled edge in Noce, and a younger woman had the Armatura Pyramid. The third woman spoke a little English and helped translate. The two women with the BVs were mother and daughter. Way to go, mom! It was great to see others who share in the BV love.

There began the obsession. But that sneaky jmcadon never let on. We were all hypnotized by the beauty of Armatura. Keep your fingers crossed for BL and I...we hope to get the pyramid from Japan, but it has to go through as a quasi-special order, like BookerMoose and her Mela Montaigne.

And you, my dear jmcadon, GOOD JOB!

OMG, the Armatura Pyramid aka Tokyo Pyramid!?! Did they bring that back too?

When I went to Ginza BV in February, they had some Armatura Venetas next to Copper Rame Venetas, ah what a sight!, and the Floor Manager told me that they brought the colour back due to the overwhelming demand, but I didn't see any Pyramid! That's a real beauty you see. (The actual colour is a bit bronzier than this pic.)

I am so excited for you! Pics pics pics pics!!!

Mid - Yes, the Tokyo Pyramid. We will see if we can each get one. The picture does not do it justice at all. It has so much more life in person and has a color shifting quality from dark steel, pewter to bronze. Looks like it can be worn with golds and silvers. I was never too excited about Armatura until seeing it IRL.

jburgh and BL, I wish you the bestest luck!! Armatura is indeed a difficult colour to capture in pics, one of those chameleon colours that BV creates, gorgeous.

What is the hardware colour?
