Good point BlueIris, the blues do start with 4 in the color code, so that maybe 'dark navy'...

colors that start with 4 are in the blue family, such as the dark navy. Even though it is a blue, it really looks black. There was a dark navy Roma on eBay recently that the seller identified as black. Night is in the black/grey family and starts with a 1.

So it is dark navy maybe. Anyone has a picture of a BV in dark navy that can share a picture here? I could not find the one mentioned on ebay...

Look at the pic with the logo stamp. That is the only one where you can see the bag has a hint of blue.

yes... the photos are a great help. They all look just like normal black to me. Also, I got hold of the BV's catalog booklet and i saw a comparison page under the men's section... nero and dark navy... if i were to put into words... Nero looks like a warm black, dark navy look like the cool black.... but then again... maybe the lighting played a part when the photos were taken.....

Hi all BV lovers,

thanks for all the advises and info extended to me in my quest for the sloane bag.... just want to update everyone that I have finally gotten it last week. I would like to post some pictures of my two new bags.... where is the best place to post the pictures?
