Hi, for those who are located in HK, BV pre-sale starts today. I haven't been to the store yet, but I believe most (if not all) of the seasonal items are on the sale list, and some classic style/color too. However, as I expected, they only offer 30% discount at this 1st round.

Full deposit payments are required at the time of ordering, and goods are to be picked up on or after June 2. So I guess the sale will go public next Tue or Wed.

Thanks shopaholic&baby, I went to BV in Harbour City tonight. The bags on sale are very nice, unfortunately, I am on a bag ban and they are only 30% off unlike US and UK where they have 50% off.

Hmm.....tink Singapore will be 30% too. :(

Ya I agree with you beck77, I was hoping Singapore would have 50% too, but now since HK only have 30%, I suppose the Singapore store would cut more than them. Further to that, Singapore pricing is higher than Hong Kong, not much but still higher. :-(

I know, I am asking a bit much about Ferro Sloane on sales, but a girl can hope right

Oh yes Take is going on 10% sales starting tomorrow, BV inside there will have the same discount, plus the normal credit card point accumulation, but like everyone here, after the 50% cut, 10% does not motivate at all.

Yeah after all that 50% off in US and UK, 30% isn't very motivating... despite that I still went and apparently you needed to be on the member's list (or at least on the list??) in order to purchase anything during the pre-sale.

Anyhow I did see a couple pieces of Ottone SLGs on sale - there were a french flap wallet with 10 credit card slots and some coin purses I believe. I believe ottone never went on sale before? Might be a good time to get it for those who are interested in Ottone.

Oh and there were some sloanes on sale not sure if Ferro is... but i did see a white one (bianco???) and nero on sale.

Its good about the Ottone, I love that leather, but it sucks at 30%, why they cannot just go with the flow and just do what the other countries are doing is unfair.

Yeah I would also think it's quite unfair - I'd understand if different countries have different price points due to currency and tax rates, but having different sales rates?? I do acknowledge that perhaps HK is one of the rare markets where sales of luxury items are less affected than say, in US/Europe. We also have unlimited travelers from Mainland China where they would happily spend thousands of dollars without even blinking....

you know what, i was gonna wait for the hk sale in the first place, but i am glad i didnt, i took shopaholic&baby advice and with her help i will be getting a tote from the US sale. awesome huh...

Actually I'm expecting that BV HK will not do 50% sale like US & UK. As redturtle said, there're so many wealthy customers flooding in from China spending a fortune on the luxury goods. BV, Hermes, Chanel, LV... you can see them everywhere with dozens of shopping bags around them! Why would the local store want to do 50% off? Not necessary at all!

I didn't know that there's a member list, I wasn't "a member" until recently but I was being informed about the pre-sales and I could place pre-sale orders too. Anyhow, for those who'd like to place pre-sale order from BV HK but not on the list, send me a PM and see how I can be of help. :)

shopaholic&baby and i went to bv tonight, and i was a bit overwhelmed by so many nice men's bags and accessories there. (some i hadn't seen in catalog)
